December 2008 Lanteky® Machine and Xining Gaoyuan Mechanical Research Institute jointly held MTU engine plateau application conference in Lhasa. The meeting discussed the plateau application and advantage of MTU engine. When MTU engine are used at an altitude of 400m-3000m, input intake air temperature, intercooler cooling water inlet temperature, altitude, inlet and exhaust back pressure, MTU ESCM can automatically adjust the output power based on the actual situation. When MTU units are used at altitude of above 3000m, customer need to apply to the MTU to change engine parts, such as the intake system, the engine starting characteristic, to guarantee the MTU normal running.
